After the death of his wife, veterinarian Chase Matthews (Anothony Edwards from The ER) and his 13-year-old son Jeff (Edward Furlong from Terminator 2: Judgment day) move to Ludlow to rebuild their lives. When the neighborhood kids ostracize Jeff, he befriends another outsider, Drew Gilbert, who lives in fear of his evil stepfather Gus (Clancy Brown from Highlander). After Gus shoots Drew's beloved dog in cold blood, the boys bury the dog in the local Native American burial ground, a place said to bring the dead back to life. When the evil is awakened, the boys realize that sometimes you shouldn't disturb dead dogs. | |
